Balloon Party Idea number 1 -simple Teams
The kids have to line themselves up from smallest to tallest - BUT they are not aloud to talk! They may use gestures etc. but no talking. Once lined up, let alternate children stride forward. This is one team - the children left over in line are the other team.

Balloon party idea number 2 - Nose a Balloon
Let the children make teams of two. Each team of children gets a balloon they must blow up. Between them, they must keep the balloon in the air bumping it only with their noses. Every time it falls on the ground they loose a point each team starting with say 100 points. The team who takes the longest to loose all its points is the winner. Kids love this game but it must a day with no wind!

Children love Balloons so having a party that includes their favourite always goes down well. Balloons come in so many different types, sizes, shapes and colours but at least it is better having too much choice.
